About this activity
Recent developments in diagnostic technologies, patient selection, and treatment approaches have rapidly advanced prostate cancer management, particularly in the localized and metastatic settings. Recently approved imaging approaches, emerging clinical data, and new clinical studies on the horizon show great potential for addressing the unmet needs of specific patient populations. In a time where the COVID-19 pandemic continues to burden healthcare systems, rapid response and practice adjustments have been essential to prioritize and ensure continuing uro-oncological care to patients worldwide. In this rapidly changing environment, it is crucial to keep the urological community up-to-date with the most current clinical evidence and guidelines in order to apply this knowledge to improving prostate cancer patient outcomes.

This Expert Highlights session summarizes the key points that were discussed during the B2B session on prostate cancer. For this session, our faculty discusses the management of patients with prostate cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing impact of digital health for physicians and patients alike. This expert panel will provide guidance to the urological community on how to best incorporate advancements in the field into practice within a multidisciplinary setting, including how management approaches are adapted in the presence of COVID-19 infection.
