About this activity
Recent advances in treatment options, sequencing, and combination therapy are in rapid development in the localized, locally advanced, and metastatic bladder cancer settings. Multiple recently completed and ongoing clinal studies are demonstrating incrementally improved outcomes, which may have important practice-changing implications. Other clinical studies are on the horizon and show potential for addressing the unmet needs of specific patient populations with bladder cancer. With these advances, there is an urgent need in the urological community to stay up to date with current evidence and guidelines and apply this knowledge to improve the outcomes for patients with bladder cancer.

In this Expert Highlights session, the our faculty will summarize the key points that were discussed during the B2B session on bladder cancer and discuss the management of patients who have bladder cancer and who have tested positive for COVID-19 in order to provide guidance to the urological community on how to best incorporate these therapies into practice within a multidisciplinary setting, including how these treatments are adapted in the presence of COVID-19 infection.
