This interactive program focuses on determining staging classification, indications, and imaging modality for blunt and penetrating trauma in children and adults. Participants will learn about the management of low- and high-grade renal trauma and about the management of complications that arise in patients who have experienced renal trauma. The program is built around a case study and is augmented with interactive questions to enhance learning.
Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
•Determine staging classification, indications, and imaging modality for blunt and penetrating trauma in children and adults.
•Determine the management of low grade renal trauma.
•Determine the management of high grade renal trauma.
•Understand the management of complications that arise after renal trauma.
