This program consists of four modules: one for general practitioners (GPs) and three for urologists. The program focuses on the epidemiology, pathophysiology and medical management of LUTS and includes a patient-physician relationship section.

Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
- Understand the multifactorial etiology of LUTS
- Explain the rationale and follow the key steps for the initial assessment of patients with multifactorial LUTS
- Identify men at risk for clinical progression
- Identify patients’ expectations and priorities for treatment
- Recognize the need for treatment
- Understand the existence of comorbidities in patients with LUTS
- Counsel patients about treatment options based on the efficacy and safety of available medical therapies and findings from patient evaluation
- Explain follow-up strategies for patients with LUTS
- Identify patients who require referral to a urologist

This program is designed for GPs as well as residents and urologists in training around the world who are SIU members or SIU Academy-registered members.

The “SIU TRaining program on Evaluation And Management of Male LUTS: STREAM of mLUTS - Module 3”, made available on http://academy.siu-urology.org/siu/2015/streamofmluts/155767 and organized by “the Société Internatonale d’Urologie”, is awarded 1 European CME credits (ECMEC's).
 
Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMS-EACCME website have formally been accredited.
 
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
