  • This program is designed to give an overview of the mechanism of obstetric fistula constitution and treatment of complex cases. While most of obstetric fistula cases can be successfully closed, there remains cases where closure cannot be achieved or after closure the patients experience urinary incontinence.
  • The goal of this program is to describe urinary diversion in those cases of failure. Emphasis is made on continent urinary diversion which addresses the double aim of being dry and continent.
  • This activity includes an expert review on a selected paper and a video animation of continent urinary diversion technique.
