This program has been devided in two parts in order to promote optimal time for learning and provide flexibility for the users.
Part I consists of a lecture format where Prof. Liping Xie presents key information regarding the ICUD Guidelines on Male LUTS, with additional information from the EAU Guidelines. This lecture also provides an introduction to his surgical video, a description of his technique, comparison with TURP and other enucleation techniques, as well as important points about the strengths and weaknesses of each. In his presentation, Prof. Xie also presents the clinical benefits/advantages, as well as the preliminary results from his technique.
Part 2 of the program consists of a demonstration of the transurethral enucleation of the prostate with key steps outlined, with an explanation of the important components of the surgery (e.g. equipment needed, etc.) and also recommendations/indications for this technique (size of the glands, tips and tricks) and summary of the case.
